捕烏魚與製作烏魚子，是台中梧棲最具代表的海口文化，為了讓更多人了解地方產業與海洋文化，當地的海口腔文化協會就特別協助下寮社區，以紙漿模型的方式，帶領社區居民製作一系列「烏魚教具」，社區也表示，未來也將走進校園與各機關導讀推廣，讓在地文化不只留在漁村，而是成為所有人都能認識的海口故事。
